Thank you all who attended the Stitches West Expo and bought my bags!!!
It was a fantastic show once again and I owe it all to my wonderful repeat and new customers.
I really appreciate all of you walking around the show and promoting my bags!!!

Bags for Knitters!!

I have modified the Maxine bags interior to work for Knitters. Allot of Knitters don't want zippers, so I removed the zippered pocket and added knitting needle slot pockets and 4 more larger pockets. You still can order it with the zipper. If you want the knitting pockets, just note it at check out.

The new Knitting Tote with it's leashed "mini Ruffle" is already a hit! I will come out with a pattern of this design for the DIY Crafters in the near future.

The Cruzer is still very popular with the Knitting community. They love it the way it is so I have not done any modifications to the design.

All moved and working away!

I am now all moved into home sewing room and cranking out bags for the upcoming Stitches West show February 25-28th.

Found a few new fabrics. Now to decide which ones to get!!!

My first fabric design!

I wanted to start with a simple pattern to see the quality of Spoonflower's printing and fabrics. I really like the linen cotton canvas!! Nice and clean looking. My cartoon of my dog Finn looks crisp and clear!

Mackerilla's Studio is moving!!! :)

Moving my studio back into my house this mid February. After 6 years on the Westside by Kelly's Bakery, our lease is now at it's end. All a very good thing for me! I am excited to be able to design and create new bag designs to add to my patterns for sale. My goal is to add 5 more patterns to sell to my current collection. All doing very well in sales.
It is time for my business to change from being more of a "seamstress" with custom orders to more of a "Designer" which is what I originally started out as.

Also I am excited to be starting to design my own fabric!!!! I will be selling my fabric designs on my website. Hopefully by this summer I will have a few to start with!!!

I will still be selling my handbags so don't worry!! On my website, on my ETSY page and in local shops!! See my website for the store nearest you! You can also still contact me for custom work!

2010 is going to be great year!!!

Stitches West Expo coming up next! End of February at the Santa Clara Convention Center. This is going to be my 3rd year being a vendor at the show. In Booth number 1032.

Holiday Time!

I will be on Holiday to Ireland til the end of the year.
Shop will be open still and my sister will be handling all online and phone orders for bags and gift certificates.
